Updated: Mar 16, 2022
Dear St. Amelia Families, Teachers and Support Staff,
Please review our latest COVID update for the week of March 7-11, 2022.
The school will continue its multi-layered approach to mitigate the spread of any illness in the building. We have attached the updated St. Amelia School COVID procedures and guidelines and encourage you to review them. All updates have been made in blue.
Please be advised that there are updates to the close contacts and quarantine information for a school setting, highlighted in blue on the attached document,
During the week of March 7-11th we were notified of one positive case of COVID.
This serves as an informational notice to our school community and does NOT mean that you have been exposed to or have come in close or proximate contact with the COVID-19 positive individual(s). We cannot release information regarding these individuals due to the Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Family Educational Rights & Privacy Act (FERPA).
All students, parents, guardians, and siblings should continue to monitor their health for symptoms of COVID-19 and follow the guidelines from the Department of Health. If your child is ill or experiencing any of the symptoms of COVID-19, please keep your child at home and contact your medical provider for assistance.
We appreciate your continued patience and cooperation as we work through these changes. Please do not hesitate to contact Mrs. Katie McIntyre at firstname.lastname@example.org, if you have any questions about the updated policies.
Thank you and God Bless,
Mrs. Katie McIntyre, Principal
