Summer Camp 2023

Hello Everyone!

Thank you so much for the overwhelming response to our annual Summer Camp program! It has been awe-inspiring watching the registration forms begin to flow in. We really believe this is going to be one of the best years ever for camp! That being said, it has also been keeping us on our toes! 
 
As you were aware, St. Amelia was supposed to begin a major construction project on our sewer lines this summer, so Cardinal O’Hara High School graciously offered to host us so we could continue to offer our camp program. However, Father Sibby just informed us as we returned from Easter Break that due to the complexity and nature of the project, it will not be able to be completed during its expected timeframe this summer. So, Camp will be returning back to our own campus! This does not change anything on your end as a parent/guardian (except where you will need to drop your child off each morning!).  We thank Cardinal O’Hara immensely for their hospitality as we have been planning already, and are keeping the door open for a stronger partnership in the years to come!
 
Summer Camp will still run from July 3 - July 28, with no camp on July 4 in observance of the holiday. Hours are from 9:00 A. M. until 4:00 P. M. each day, and we will still offer before and after care for families who may need it!

It’s been said that, “if you can’t change the direction of the wind, adjust your sails,” and that is what we continue to do, so that we can bring you the best summer camp program! We thank you all for your patience and flexibility as we have been working so very hard to bring the FUN CAMP to life this year! As directors, we are so appreciative!
